“Lan Rex combines melodic singing in many voices with techno and dark wave elements to pop songs. The structure of the songs mostly resists common pop music song forms. The texts are an interplay of personally experienced stories, introspective explorations and confrontations with queer-feminist activism. The fragmentary texts give listeners space for their own.”
